I purchased these sandals from a major shoe retailer (a sure Warehouse) in pewter. Seeing these shoes for sale here, as well, long after this sandal disappeared from the other store's website made me very happy. I had determined purchasing the pair in the yellow, rich, mustard sort of color, and on Memorial Day I had my chance, so I bought them.
My typical size is 7, but, Seeing as they run half a size too long for 90% of the habitancy who reviewed the product (here and on the Warehouse's website), I bought a 6.5 instead, and it worked out perfectly. I wear them a lot inspecting how many shoes I have. I gave them 4/5 stars because, as darling as they are, I inquire their having been originally valued at $50. It's a lot to ask for a sole and four straps!
As for the sizing issue, I can't knock the maker too much, because Mr. Madden did not use my foot as his "Size 7" template. Also, the pewter ones are not real leather, but the yellow ones look and feel Just like it -- smooth, soft, and with no visible texture. This shoe rocks, and I am pleased to have them in two pairs!!
